Alexandra-Maria-Lara
Alexandra Maria Lara, a Romanian and German actress who works on TV and in films is well known for movies such as Rush as well as Downfall Youth Without Youth Control. She was the sole child of Romanian actor Valentin Platareu, Alexandra started her showbiz career from a young age. At the age of 16, she was 16years old, Alexandra was able to land prominent roles in a variety of shows on television. Her critically-acclaimed performance in the television film Der Tunnel paved way for many other noteworthy roles, including that of Secretary to Adolf Hitler Traudl Junge in the critically and commercially profitable Oscar nominated historical war drama film Downfall. Additional Oscar nominated films featuring the diva include The Reader and Der Baader Meinhof Komplex. Alexandra has been involved in numerous important international and national projects over the years. The projects include British biographical film Control Greek dramatic film The Dust of Time French historical Miniseries Napoleon, amongst others. Other roles she has held include being a jury member at both the Transylvania International Film Festival and Cannes Film Festival.
